The following are the mission, vision, values statements of our congregation. We articulated these statements to establish a clear idea of what we want to do as an expression of the Church of God.

 

Mission Statement:

To Receive Christ, To Proclaim Christ, and To Show Christ.

 

Values Statement:

Bethel

Not only do we greatly cherish the means of grace, we also value the "house of God" where He meets us through Word and Sacrament.

Evangelical

 

It is our privilege to be the "messengers of God's Good News" of Jesus Christ to others.

 
Lutheran

We treasure our Lutheran heritage, as contained in the confessional writings, and, as the Church of the Reformation, we speak to a changing society the unchanging message of God's grace in Christ.
Church

 

More than a building, we are a body of believers united by Christ with the greater Church in all times and places.

 

Vision Statement:

Given our mission and values, we envision a congregation whose members are strong in daily prayer and devotions, who gather to receive the Word and Sacraments, join together in the study of God's Word, share their faith with others, and who relate to each other and all people with love and faith in action.
